Yes, the BAS is designed to use the weight bags that come with it to keep it from moving. The weight is evenly distributed, which keeps it very stable. It's a patented design that uses a combination of balance, absorption, and flex. The only way it wouldn't stay upright is if you don't use the weight bags or you set it up backward.

There are no holes for bolts because we don't recommend tightly attaching it directly to the floor. The stand is designed to have a little movement to absorb energy from hits. That being said, some people have used oversized brackets in multiple locations (to spread out the stress) with a thick foam liner that holds it in place, still has some give, and works great!

Yes, many people use the BAS in apartments without any problems. Bas even uses one in his hotel room when he's on location. It has soft, rubber feet to cushion it, and the Weight Bags are evenly distributed for stability and to keep it from moving.

Yes, the BAS can be used outside. However, it should not be stored outside where it is exposed to the elements. All parts of the system, including the weight bags, must be kept dry to prevent damage. Make sure to bring it indoors after use to ensure its longevity.

The BAS is very different from punching dummies because it has angled pads that are constructed with multiple layers of foam to absorb different levels of force. The Head Pad lets you do perfect upper-cuts & hooks, and the Torso Pad has targets for punches, elbows & knees. The Focus Pads are great for side-to-side striking, kicks, and add greater mass for advanced core training. Everything is designed to move & flex, like a real person, and then spring right back for the next hit.

The BAS System features a Head Pad for uppercuts & hooks and a Torso Pad with interactive targets for punches, elbows & knees. It also has Focus Pads & T-Bars for side-to-side striking, kicks, and greater mass for advanced core training.

Resistance is self-regulating. The pads are made with multiple layers of foam to absorb different levels of intensity and then conduct it through the springs. Finally, the stand is designed to flex so the force from your hits keeps going in the direction you throw it without moving across the floor. Then, everything immediately springs right back for the next hit! The Focus Pads are completely adjustable for width, angle & rotation.

The focus pads can be adjusted at almost any angle so you can hit them perfectly. Normally, when you kick a bag at an upward angle, your knee will twist a bit to compensate for the angle. With the BAS, you can have different angles on each of the pads. Check this video for more guidance Adjustable Video
