Train MMA.

Practice the striking side of MMA at home. Adjustable head, torso, and focus-pad targets let you work on punches, kicks, knees, and elbows in your solo sessions.

Why BAS

Make room for practice at home.

The BAS System gives you a place to practice striking between coached sessions. Adjust the pads to suit the techniques you are learning, rather than treating every strike as one fixed target.

The X2 includes four focus pads for more target positions. It is for striking practice, not wrestling, takedowns, or a substitute for a responsive training partner.

MMA striking practice at home.

Three ways to use the BAS System in your home routine.

  • Punches to different targets

Move between the head, torso, and focus pads using punches you have learned. Keep each target change deliberate.

  • Upper- and lower-body strikes

Include punches and kicks in the same session, using suitable padded targets. Reset your position between techniques instead of rushing a long combination.

  • Close-range target work

Practice familiar knee and elbow techniques on the appropriate pads. A fixed target does not recreate clinch resistance or an opponent's reactions.

These are training ideas, not step-by-step technique lessons. Learn unfamiliar techniques with a qualified instructor, follow the setup manual, and strike only the padded targets.

MMA FAQ.

  • Why is X2 recommended for MMA?

MMA needs more target variety than boxing alone. The X2 adds the reach and pad layout for kicks, knees, elbows, and side-to-side movement.

  • Can I train kicks on it?

Use suitable focus pads for kicks taught by your instructor. Adjust the pads to a comfortable height and leave room around the base. Do not kick the frame, supports, or weight bags.

  • Does it replace sparring?

No. It does not hit back, wrestle, or make decisions. It is for combinations, timing, target accuracy, and conditioning between live rounds.

  • Should I add XLINK?

XLINK is useful if you want strike counts, speed, and power feedback. The page recommends the X2 plus XLINK 4 bundle for the fullest MMA setup.

  • How much setup time should I expect?

Plan on about 45 minutes the first time. Fill every weight bag, set your pad heights, and you will not need to rebuild it between sessions.
